Hi Nick,

It's been a week since you left. How are you? Are you happy? Is it nice in heaven? Do they have white gardens and angels flying around? Have you met God? Is He nice? I bet He is.

I have been thinking a lot about you. I hope you are doing well up there. Nick, I think it's time for me to let you go. Thanks for being my friend even though it is just 2 years. Thanks for all the help that you have given me. I remember the times we did experiments together in the lab, how you always helped me operate those machines, how you sat at the computer kiosk for hours just to finish up your lab reports, how I lend you my report for your reference, how we discuss answers to questions we don't even understand and a lot more hows. You have been a great help and your presence in my life made a lot of difference.

I thank God for letting our path cross during our lifetime although it is brief. I will always remember you as my friend. Time to let you go. Be free, Nick. Be happy. You will be missed.
