I am a bad word n00b. I hear people say them often but I don't know what they actually mean. I just know those are bad words. Come to think about it, how are bad words characterized? To me, bad words are just random words which have been given a "different" meaning. Some words are purely creation and some are actually listed in the dictionary. So, does it matter if we say bad words? Well, they're just words, aren't they?
I grew up in a family which opposed the use of bad words. I grew up not saying those words, not learning those words and have never been in contact with those words until recently, I've been in contact with those words over the internet; mostly through chatting sessions. Out of a sudden, someone would message me with the opening line "FUCK!". Now that's random. Personally, I wouldn't like that word mentioned in front of me. It's fine by me if you want to say it but please just don't say it so randomly at me. It feels as if I'm a whore; which I am not. So I don't deserve those words. If you want to say it, say it behind my back, not in front of me.
But, I do realized I'm beginning to pick up those words from chatting sessions and now I am kind of immune to them. I am sort of tired listening to those words that they are now part of my vocabulary. Don't get me wrong however, I do not say those words. It is just not me. I don't say them and I have never said them. Well, I don't know in future will I use them, but for the time being, it's not my cup of tea.
How I wish my peeps out there knew about this entry directed at them. Oh well, just my thought for the day.
Signing off.
