Suffocate

This morning, I woke up not being able to breathe. Something seems to be stuck at the back of my throat. I sat up abruptly, and try to cough it out but failed. I smack myself hard on the chest in the hopes to dislodge it, failed again. The oxygen level was dropping. And it was dropping fast. I can see it in the monitor. I was scared.

Thank God the nurse heard me coughing my lungs out and came to my aid. This is hell. I do not want to wake up not being able to breathe again. Those that have experienced this would understand what I am going through.
