Life as a hermit

I wouldn't be surprised if I end up becoming a hermit, at the rate I'm going. I just know that one day I will snap, and won't allow other people complicate my life any further.

Then again, it isn't that bad being a hermit. I want to free myself of the sufferings of this world. I want to disassociate myself from people.

I will find a place on top of the hill and isolate myself. Build a house. Every morning, I will go out and enjoy the scenery, while sipping my hot coffee. In the evening, I will do the same while smoking a cigarette or two. Until sunset.

I will have no worries, no concerns. Nobody will hurt me. I won't be worried of losing anybody. I won't be afraid of people trying to do me harm. There won't be a soul who will interfere with my life. And I won't need to think of anyone but myself. I will be the only person I'll ever need to answer to.

In my world there will be no love, no hatred. No joy, no sadness. No duties, no responsibilities. No expectations, no ambitions. No need to compete or help. No friends, no rivals.

Only paralyzing solitude.
